Please welcome our newest Typist.

Here at The Creative Type our team is always evolving. We have some team mates who have been with us since the beginning and some who have joined in the past few months. Today I wanted to introduce our newest design team member, Nicole.

"I'm Nicole, aka Ginger. I've been scrapping for about 3 years, but just really started getting into it about a year and a half ago. I love beautiful things, playing with paper, my two yorkies, baking (& aprons), shopping, makeup & anything vintage/eclectic. I've been with my boyfriend for 8 years & appreciate him because he pretends to be interested in anything and everything I create. I'm a nurse by night, a ginger by nature, a crafter by hobby, and a foodie by choice. I live by the motto "Do something creative everyday." You can check out my blog to find more about me! (www.gingersparkles.blogspot.com) Happy crafting!"

Welcome Nicole, we look forward to you and all you have to share with us here on The Creative Type!

Love song.

With Valentines day looming over us, we have the perfect challenge for you. Love songs. Pick a love song and create a project relating to it. There is just one twist though, use something musical as an element (your font, graphic, embellishments. etc) Whether it be a sad love song or happy one, have fun!

Our guest designer this month is
Lisa Kercher.

"Lisa here, aka FormerlyLisaS. I try to be awesome at least on a semi-daily basis, and then blog about it. I love wide open blue sky and have a crush on every hay bale I've ever laid eyes on. I make up songs about farting for my five year old, and I try ever so hard to make my husband love me in spite of it! I scrapbook because my memory is like a...insert metaphor for something that can't hold things here. I want to have a visual record of my existence in this world. I believe art is life and life is art, and anything I can do to express myself, my feelings, my memories, my triumphs and defeats is a-okay in my book! later skater alligator..."

Thank you Lisa!
