Guest Typist time.......................

Brought to you a tid bit late is our guest typist for prompt #7. The late part was all my fault just to let you know.

So for prompt #7 its all about paint and words of course. I now bring to you a very crafty girl in deed, who's artistic ability span alllllllll aspects of the creative world. How could she not pull off making an inspiring layout to share with all of you??? Well lets see and learn all about our 7Th guest typist!

"My name is Lisa. I live in central California with my gaming nerd boyfriend! I spend most of my time crafting in our spare room while he is playing in the world of Warcraft.
It works well for us lol :) I scrapbook, but my other passions are sewing and photography.
I run 2 ETSY shops where I sell my sewn goodies, like zippy pouches, tote bags and scarves: Madame cupcake ETSY and the other for scrapbook supplies and Destash . They both consume waaaay too much of my time, so when I was asked to guest spot, it was like a sigh of relief to do something non-ETSY related lol!

I'm also going to school to be a nurse! Right now I'm in between classes and it's pretty perfect because I get to focus on my shops and make Christmas presents for people!
I think handmade presents are way better than store bought!

For my page Iused some foam stamps and paint...and then went a little nuts with black paint around the border lol! My poor little neglected foam stamps were happy to be free.
When was the last time you used yours?? Back when I did daily cards, I used paint on pretty much every one of them. Paint is the best, and if you haven't already done this challenge, you should! It's tons of fun!

Well, that's it for me. if you wanna know more about me, come by my blog and say hello!

Thank you Lisa!! And make sure to link all entries to the prompt #7 post no later then Sunday, November 30th. The winner will walk away with a great gift card to spend on paper, paper, paper!!

Havent we been lucky??

The past 5 prompts we really had some great Guest Typists, if I do say so myself! Bringing in someone outside the team to participate in our featured prompt is just a great way to inspire all of us even more.

For prompt # 6, we are very lucky to have a really fantastic scrap booking, photography loving, artist of all sorts............................................ Christina Clouse!!! I have been in awe of her work for quite some time now, and finally got up the guts to email her and ask her to be our 6Th guest designer, and she said yes. Every time I visit her blog, I am just inspired by her, whether it be her photography technique experimenting, scrap booking, art journaling, or even just her writings on her everyday going ons.

She is also on the Sweet Spuds design team(love their kits) and she is a Mojo Girl (just like our last guest designer, Dani!)

When I asked her to come up with a take on "Mix it up" she really put together some great stuff to share with us.

Thank you Christina!!!

"Hi! My name is Christina and I live in Seattle with my adorable boyfriend of nine years, Greg. Two of my very favorite things in the world are taking photographs and playing with art supplies, so scrapping was an excellent hobby to fall into. I am exceedingly grateful for the friendships I have made and the interesting things I have learned along the way."

I enjoy blogging, and if you'd like to stop by, say hi, and see what I'm up to, you can visit me at:
Coffee girl crafts."

Christina made the above layout by playing around with assorted type on Photoshop. She used words that reminded her of this time of year(fall), and made the words different sizes. She then printed them out on plain Kraft card stock and used it in her layout.

The below image is a freebie that can be saved and printed out on your computer and used for tags or a layout of your own!

Lets mix it up a bit............oh and we have a winner.

No, not a presidential winner......................yet, that's tomorrow. Tonight however we have a prompt #5 winner, and that lucky person will receive a GC for $20 dollars to One Good Bumble Bee. So the polls have closed, and after numerous recounts and errors with our machines...................................hold up, none of that happened, I'm just being silly. We do use a poll, and after I closed it, the person with the most votes is Diane!! Congratulations, you did a wonderful job with our prompt, then again you all did. Be sure to email me your email address at Thecreativetype@hotmail.com and we will get you that GC in your email box as soon as we can.

Now on to new things. We are gonna be mixing it up in our 6Th prompt. We are appropriately calling this one "Mix it up". We want you to fill your page up with different type galore. Different sizes, different styles, explore, experiment, have fun. Your pieces can be about anything, but don't stick to just one style of Type, OK? OK! Pretty easy huh? Well then lets see what you got. One lucky person will be the proud owner of this chic print donated to us by our very own lovely Sandy. This comes straight from sfgirlbybay 's Etsy shop, so be sure to stop on over there and snag your own poster today!
With hopes in inspiring you some more, here are what the typists did with prompt #6:
