Hey all your fabulous scrapbookers out there!!!  We've enjoyed creating with you all this past year, but we've decided to take a break for summer.  Lots of the CT team are traveling or have other commitments, so we're taking a short sojourn. Come back here in September and join us for more fun projects and scrapbooking inspiration.  We hope everyone has a great summer!!

Hello scrapbookers out there!  I apologize for the late post here, it was just one of those weeks!

This month of May is all about EMPOWERMENT.  What empowers you, and what in particular did you used to fret and worry about, but it doesn't concern you anymore?  What areas of your life (or your body) do you embrace and honor now, as compared to in the past? That's the challenge, scrap about it.  We are so excited to see what you'll come up with!  Just remember to upload it HERE by the last day in May to the Flickr group!


One of our favorites is back for us this month, the lovely Vee Jennings!  I absolutely adore this layout.  As always she is just amazing!  Don't you love it?  I think it's spot on!

And she has donated the prize, too.  A pdf of her misting class that is so popular!  You'll be able to learn some of her fabulous misting techniques!  Fun, right? Better get on it and upload those pictures pronto!

That's the April challenge, pick another scrapbooker that you admire and do a layout in their "style." This should be a fun one and what a nice surprise for someone else when they discover you made a layout in their style. I know I'd be really honored, and this layout from our guest designer this month is a perfect example of a beautiful page, right? Shanna was so nice to agree to guest for us this month, and we LOVE her layout. She says Amy Martin over at The Lilypad has been one of the scrapbookers she's admired for quite awhile, and we can see why. But I must say, Shanna is one of my favorites over at Studio Calico, so this is so exciting for me.

Celebrity Crush

Okay, I know we all have one, right? That celebrity that you swoon over, when you are checking out in the grocery line you get caught staring at his/her picture on the front of the newest magazine, you watch and rewind the movie with the beach scene when they take off their shirt. Oh, that's just me? Embarrassing.

Well, I doubt it, I know there's so many guys and gals out there we all sorta wish we were their Valentine this year. Ryan Gosling, George Clooney, Channing Tatum, Edward, Jacob, Jason Schwartzman, David Beckham....

That's our February challenge, "Celebrity Crush." This is a fun one for the month of love, so come and create a page or project for your "special" Valentine. And look what our special Guest Designer Tina Aszmus made for us!!! OMG, I die.

And want to know something else??? Tina has most kindly donated the amazing prize for this challenge! Never Too Late for a Resolution

In 2012 I would love to make better use of SC Kits & to take more pictures!!!

We're still keeping up with those resolutions, right??

Ha! One of my resolutions was to exercise more. Last week I walked for 30 minutes one day and did half of a Pilates DVD another day, agh.... but I am starting anew this week with promising myself to exercise at least 4 times a week. How are you doing on keeping up with your resolutions?

Happy New Year!!!  We hope you are finding a great start to 2012!  This month's prompt is just about that; resolutions, goals, wishes.  What are your resolutions?  To loose weight?  Learn to knit?  Travel more?  Learn to bake?  Make more YOU time? Hope you're all hangin' in there this holiday season! Does it seem like time is flying by this last couple weeks? I feel rushed to bake cookies, wrap gifts, decorate, buy last minute presents and go to various festive functions. But I am also trying to keep up with my own December album and make a few handmade holiday cards, and I am excited to finish a couple other quick craft projects I've started. What about you? Is there anything special you can share with us?

Speaking of special, look at Team B's layouts. I think you'll love them as much as I do. Keeping with the "best gift ever" theme, they did a bang-up job!
