Well for starters I think you may agree with me that its about time we pick the winner for prompt #22. Jen was so very generous to sponsor this one, and with it being a Rob Ryan prompt, what better then to give away a beautiful book of Rob Ryan artwork?!

As always, we had all wonderful layouts entered. We love that you guys play along and share with us all of your inspiring pieces of work. It makes for very hard voting, let me tell you. We always seem to have a very close tie, and I wish you could all win!

And last but not least, the holidays are sneaking upon us ever so quickly. Can you believe how fast a year can go by?? Yikes. The Creative Type will be taking a break for the holidays(oh so much to do in these next few weeks) And we will be back in the New Year, Monday, January 4Th to be exact. Be here or be square! Is that the saying?? Well which ever holiday it is you celebrate, may you have a wonderful time doing so. Please be safe and we will see you in 2010:)

Well, we have another Typist's birthday!!! Happy Birthday sweet Louise, from all of us here at The Creative Type:) I hope your day was a good one, and was full of all kinds of wonderful.

Back into the swing of things prompt #22

First of all, I would like to thank all of you for being very patient!! I have no clue what has happened this past month, but I feel time has flown by and my mind is just a big puddle:) I started this challenge site because well I loved challenge sites and thought it would be great to have my own, to inspire others. With alot of help from the girls and a break from running it for a few months, I realized it is alot of work(rewarding) and that I really do love this site and all of the girls on the team as well as all of the people who participate, so thank you!!!


I also wanted to give a very big, HUGE congratulations to one of our Typists who gave birth to her twins this past Friday!!! Judean and her husband(and family) have welcomed two healthy babies into the world, a little girl and little boy. From all of us at The Creative Type, Best wishes and lots of love to you and your family, and take as long as a break as you need:) We understand!! hehe.


Now on to who won prompt #21(insert drum roll)............................................Chris and her lovely layout "Joy" As always it was super, super hard to pick. We all agreed that this prompt was extra hard, so many good entries.

This next prompt is a fun one. We have taken inspiration from a very creative artist named Rob Ryan. For those of you who are not quite sure who he is, be sure to check out his shop as well as his blog.

He is an extremely talented paper cutting artist. Rob Ryan's pieces are really one of a kind, delicate and oh so intricate.

For this prompt we want to see something inspired by his paper cutting's. Of course we are looking along the lines of Typography, but really use your imagination and have tons of fun!!!

"Hey! My name is Kara Haupt and I live in Idaho. I'm 17 years old and a Senior in High School. I've been scrapbooking/art journaling for a few years now. We were suppose to be posting prompt #22 this week but we are holding it off until next week. That will give you time to work on it during the Thanksgiving holiday(for us people in the States) and continue on after the holiday is over.
